One day, in Rio, there were birds singing happily then nets came coming from the sky, traps hidden in the bushes, cages hanging on trees.
They were brought to Moose lake, Minnesota, a crate with a baby male blue macaw fell out from a truck in the snow, then Linda Gunderson found and adopts the blue macaw, naming him Blu, Tyler Blu Gunderson.
After 15 years, they lived in a bookstore that Linda owns, one day an ornithologist Túlio Monteiro, invites Blu and Linda to Rio de Janeiro to meet a female blue macaw and bring them together to save the species, because they are only blue Macaws on Earth.
